Initial start up costs are comparable to most action sports ... but after that, wind is Free. Before and after you buy equipment, get proper training. This training should include equipment evaluations and your instructor can guide you in the right direction to purchase or use the proper size and style for your individual needs.

Sorry, you can't rent equipment. However, we do provide it with most of our instruction packages. If you want to practice using the Kiteboarding equipment. You should always do so under direct supervision of an experienced instructor. This will ensure a safe and exciting Kiteboarding experience.
What is the difference between landboarding and kiteboarding?
Landboarding is essentially the same as kiteboarding, except you use a mountain style skate board on land with a smaller size traction kite than kiteboarders use in the water. Remember, that land is a lot harder than water... so, the proper instruction, safety precautions and protective equipment are required.
How long does it take to learn to Kiteboard?
Based on the hundreds of students taught. It takes an average student with little or no experience approx. 4-6 hours of professional instruction with ideal wind and water conditions to learn the basics. Your instructors primary concern is your safety and enjoyment. Your primary concern should be the same.
Should I purchase a kite and board prior to taking lessons?
The only kite we recommend purchasing prior to lessons, is a Kiteboarding specific training kite. Large traction kites can be extremely dangerous in the hands of untrained or unsupervised individuals. Your instructor will evaluate your skills and abilities and goals as you progress through the class. He will then advise you on kite and board sizes best suited for you and the conditions you plan to ride in.
Can you Kiteboard on land and snow or just on the water?
